Do you fancy nature, water, excitement?
A fancy for Nature – It’s all around you but can be more easily observed in the parks and reserves whose doors are open for you.
The nature reserve at Prats de Mollo is the nearest to the campsite. This exceptional site is visited on foot along signposted footpaths where you can observe the local flora and fauna.
Le Tropique du Papillon, a butterfly park, the valley of tortoises, the eagles of Valmy, the aquariums at Canet and Banyuls sur Mer, mini farms etc are all possible places to visit to see wildlife.
On another scale there is the African reserve at Sigean which offers a real safari in the department of the Aude.
Nature reserves
Aqualand at St Cyprien
A fancy for Water – there are numerous aquatic parks of which the biggest is Aqualand at St Cyprien, toboggans, wave pools, white water rafting,and an artificial canyoning run at Argeles where you can sample this sport in safety.
A fancy for Land and Air – Up in the branches of the trees or suspended from cables you can climb about and try out the various aerial courses. The nearest one is 3km from the campsite.
A fancy for excitement and thrills – lots of adventure parks in the coastal area during the summer season.
For really big thrills a trip to the celebrated Port Aventura in Spain is called for. You’ll be really impressed!
